JESSE, LAURA AND JOCIE MISER

         EMPORIA, KANSAS   miserhorses@yahoo.com

Welcome to Miser Quarter Horses.  We're a small breeder in the heart of the Flint Hills.  We run about 15 mares, 2 stallions and grass cattle.  We believe in the horses we raise, competing on them and using them in the day to day operations.  We breed to a few outside mares each year.

Retired :     PC  Rushon Frost is a son of Sun Frost out of a Docs Oak Sugar Mare.

He is a tremendous athlete with a lot of stop.  Tons of personality and a super disposition.  This stud has been hauled to all of Jocie's Junior High Rodeos, high school rodeos, open rodeos and jackpots in the break-away and goat tying.  He is also a nice barrel horse that spent too much time in the roping pen with our daughter.  Several daughters of Rush now in our broodmare band and crossing nicely on Mr. Fancy Hairpin and Yellowsmoke of Texas.

Tabasco Hancock, now deceased,  is a blue roan 94% foundation bred outstanding sire.  We ride several of his offspring ourselves and have several cowboys using them as well as several being used in the rodeo pens.  His colts are smart, agile and fast.  Big horses with a lot of heart and are easy to get along with.

Yellowsmoke of Texas---super gentle stud that puts a ton of chrome and fancy on his babies.  He has done a nice job of filling in the shoes left by Rush and makes super athletic babies.  Son of Yellowroan of Texas by the great Peptoboonsmal.
